About FISC

The Foundation for the Interdisciplinary Study of China is a new nonprofit research organization based in the Washington, D.C. area. Our mission is to break down the barriers between fields of research relevant to the study of China by promoting collaboration between experts from diverse academic fields and backgrounds.

FISC disseminates its research findings in the form of written and filmed panel and individual discussions with subject matter experts, edited research reports, and articles featuring original analysis. FISC's analysis can be found on this website and its affiliated social media accounts.

Our aim is to introduce the public to findings that are timely, original, accessible, and relevant to the policy debate in the United States and other democratic societies.
